September 7, 8 and 9th 2018, The Belgian Air Force Days at Kleine Brogel AFB.
This year after a few years without an official public day the Belgian Air Force treated us with a 3 day event full of sunshine and interesting / exciting aircraft.
Besides a scala of aircraft in the static a good number of air displays kept the public busy and amazed.
From countries like Poland, Ukraine, Portugal, The Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Germany and many more aircraft were gathered on the Tiger air force base Kleine Brogel home of the oldest Tiger squadron in the world ’31 Smaldeel’ (31st Tiger Squadron) that currently flies the F-16.
In the past Kleine Brogel has hosted countless Tiger Meets that always included a ‘spottersdag’ for aircraft spotters to enjoy an operational Tiger Meet day in Belgium. Kleine Brogel has a very good connection with aircraft spotters from europe, inviting them more than once for all sorts of occasions. Those spotters days are guaranteed good fun just like this sunny weekend in early September.
