The “Historical Camp” designed as a one-way system that led people chronologically through the history of the Italian Air Force. Many of the airframes had been transported from the Museo Storico Aeronautica Militare at Vigna di Valle, with various tanks, tents and historical reenactors. Preserved static aircraft were positioned in an area of four hectares, recreating many scenarios from the history of the service in a path that ideally connected the past, the present and the future of the Italian Air Force.
