The Paris Air Show 2025 launched its 55th edition on Monday, 16 June 2025, at Paris-Le Bourget Airport. The opening day assembled global leaders across commercial aviation, defence aerospace, and advanced air mobility, showcasing next-generation sustainable flight technologies, supersonic military power, and bilateral industrial agreements.

The 55th biennial Salon International de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace welcomed nearly 300,000 visitors, including 130,000 trade professionals and 170,000 public attendees, hosting over 2,490 exhibiting companies.
Opening day flight demonstrations commenced with the precision aerobatics of the French Air and Space Force Patrouille de France flying Alpha Jets. Solo aerial displays featured the high-agility Dassault Rafale C, the wide-body Airbus A350-1000, and the tactical Airbus A400M Atlas.
Static aircraft displays covered commercial airliners, military assets, and emerging technologies. Featured aircraft included the Dassault Falcon 6X, the Embraer C-390 Millennium, the ATR 72-600, the Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II, the Boeing 777X, the unmanned Baykar Bayraktar TB3, and the Archer Midnight electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
